COVID19 – All routine clinical and surgical ophthalmology in the UK is currently suspended as part of the nationwide measures to reduce spread of the SARS-Cov-2 virus. This will remain the case for a number of months yet. I have spoken with all of my private patients with more urgent eye conditions and those whom I was due to see in the coming months. In the meantime, if you have concerns about your eye condition and would like advice, I will continue to support patients by conducting telephone/remote consultations and I am contactable as per usual through my secretary at the Nuffield Hospital.

NHS Emergency eye care will continue at Bristol Eye Hospital. Patients should speak by telephone with the Eye Emergency Department before attending (tel 0117 9230000). Please stay safe and follow Government advice.
